App color
Section titled “App color”App color… in Preferences sets the accent color used for buttons, toggles, zone borders, the Shift-drag highlight, the Share Zone frame, layout previews, and the tray and taskbar icons.
- 12 presets: purple (default,
#a855f7), indigo, blue, cyan, teal, green, amber, orange, red, rose, pink and violet. - A hue slider and a hex field for any other color.
- Changes preview live. Done keeps the color, while Cancel, ✕ or Esc returns to the color you had before.
Language
Section titled “Language”Pick a language from the Language dropdown in the title bar. VirtualZones comes in 26 languages:
English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese (Portugal), Portuguese (Brazil), Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Czech, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Greek, Turkish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian and Hindi.
- English is built in. Other languages are downloaded the first time you choose them (from GitHub) and saved in
%APPDATA%\VirtualZones\lang\, so they also work offline. - The selected language is refreshed at each launch so translations stay current.
- Any text that isn’t translated yet falls back to English.
- Dates follow the chosen language. English uses your Windows region format.
- Error messages that come from the license server are always in English.
If the UI stays in English after you choose a language, the download failed. Check that raw.githubusercontent.com is reachable (some corporate networks block it).
